Experience Design in India: Innovation Workshop for Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad
The middle class of India is expanding drastically and is expected to increase steadily its buying power. We see not a few similar points with Japan’s high-growth period in 60’s and 70’s, while their service demands also reflect Indian current conditions and their social and cultural peculiarities.
Based on the results of the fieldwork of visiting Indian families in the past 3 years, in this workshop Japanese participants, together with IITH students will come up with ideas on new experiences that change Indian middle class peoples’ everyday life. We will aim to create innovative ideas analyzing Japanese successful services and using analogical reasoning.
